*Users of the Library:The PRS Library is used mainly by the Academic Staff and students of the Pacific Regional Seminary, who are issued with ID Cards which allow them to borrow materials from the library.
We welcome students/staff from the PTC, USP, SPATS, and other institutions around Suva, to visit and use our library. They may use the library and the photocopying facilities, but may not borrow books unless they are registered users.
*External Borrowers: Local parish priests and other Catholic educational institutions may become external borrowers of the library.
An arrangement is now in place whereby the two theological colleges, the Pacific Regional Seminary (PRS) and the Pacific Theological College (PTC), may become external borrowers of each other's libraries, after becoming registered users with the payment of an annual fee of $10.00.
Users may print out their assignments, etc. using the Lexmark printer situated in the librarians' office area. A fee is charged for this service.
A card-operated copier is provided for the use of all users of the library. Cards are kept by the librarians and used by the various national /community groups, e.g. Fijians ; Marists ; Tongans ; Samoans, etc.
Users are able to get laminating done in 2 sizes: ID size & A4 size. A fee is charged for this service.
There are six (6) computers in the library proper, two (2) of these being used for accessing the Koha OPAC , and the other four (4) for accessing of internet.
DVD Recorder/Hi Fi Stereo.
DVD's or CD's used for the various lectures/classes may be copied for the use of students.
